In high school softball action, Casey Co. Lady Rebels secured a 13-4 victory over Somerset Lady Briar Jumpers in a game broadcast live on Somerset 106.1 FM & Somerset106.com. Additionally, Pulaski County Lady Maroons dominated with an 11-1 win over Rockcastle County, while Southwestern Lady Warriors triumphed over Wayne County with a score of 17-7 in just 5 innings.

On the baseball diamond, Somerset claimed a commanding 18-0 victory over Casey Co. in just 3 innings, while Pulaski County secured an 11-3 win against Rockcastle County. However, Southwestern suffered a narrow 3-2 loss against Wayne County, and McCreary Central dominated Somerset Christian School with a 14-0 win in 5 innings.
