On Saturday, Cincinnati came back strong with a 9-4 victory over St. Louis, with Will Benson, Elly De La Cruz, Stuart Fairchild, Jonathan India, Austin Wynns, and Noelvi Marte driving in runs for the Reds. However, on Sunday, St. Louis shut out Cincinnati 2-0, leading to a split in the four-game series in St. Louis. Cincinnati (39-45, 4th in NL Central) has an off-day on Monday and will open a three-game series against the New York Yankees (54-32, 2nd in AL East) at Yankee Stadium on Tuesday night at 7:10 PM. Joey Logano won the NASCAR Cup Series race in Nashville. It was Logano’s first victory of the season and his fifth all-time in Nashville.
