The Kentucky Department of Revenue must briefly pause operations as it prepares to launch a new business tax portal, MyTaxes, as well as a new internal, integrated tax system. From February 26 to March 14, many of the department’s operations will be temporarily unavailable. Staff will be available to answer phone calls, but will have limited system access during this period. We appreciate your patience during the transition.
How will the pause affect individual taxpayers?
Tax returns may be filed during the temporary operations pause. However, return acknowledgements and refunds will be delayed until operations resume on March 14.
