SCC Giving Day achieves remarkable success thanks to community generosity

Somerset, KY– The Somerset Community College (SCC) community came together with incredible support during this year’s SCC Giving Day, raising a total of $17,053 from 95 generous gifts. This fundraising effort will directly impact the lives of our students and enhance support for vital programs.

“We are grateful for the generosity shown by our community,” said Cindy Clouse, vice president of advancement and executive director of the SCC Foundation. “These donations will assist in transforming lives and supporting our students in their educational journeys. Thank you to everyone who contributed!”

Here’s a breakdown of the funds raised during Giving Day:

  • Share and Care Centers- $5,845
  • Student Emergency Funds- $6,796
  • General Scholarship Fund- $1,000
  • Greatest Need- $1,727
  • Others Not Listed- $1,685
