Somerset, KY– Somerset Community College (SCC) is proud to introduce SCC Connects, a dynamic new podcast designed to bring the stories, successes, and spirit of the SCC community directly to students, families, and the region. The podcast serves as a central hub for campus updates, student and faculty spotlights, and inspiring features that highlight what makes SCC such a vibrant institution.
SCC Connects delivers consistent, engaging content that reflects the heart of campus life. Each episode dives into topics such as student success stories, faculty excellence, and important campus events. Whether listeners are current Pathfinders, prospective students, alumni, or community members, the podcast offers a welcoming window into life at SCC.
The podcast is hosted by two SCC students who bring enthusiasm and authenticity to every episode:
Allie Blevins, Associate of Arts student and Student Ambassador, graduating in May 2027. Allie brings a passion for student engagement and academic success.
Bryan Gouge, Health Science Technology student at the Laurel Campus and member of the Honors Program. Bryan’s career goal of becoming a nurse practitioner fuels his excitement for campus initiatives and student life.
Both hosts play a key role in delivering content that resonates with students and the broader community.
SCC Connects utilizes cutting‑edge AI voice cloning technology, implemented with the full consent and participation of its student hosts, to ensure consistent, high‑quality production. This innovation allows Bryan and Allie to balance academic demands while still sharing their authentic voices and perspectives with the SCC audience.
