Lake Cumberland Farmers Market opens for the 2025 Harvest Season

Kentucky Proud vendors, food trucks, bookmobile and more are part of opening day Saturday, May 3

SOMERSET, KENTUCKY (May 2, 2025) — The 2025 Lake Cumberland Farmers Market season kicks off Saturday, May 3, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Citizens National Bank Pavilion in downtown Somerset.

The Lake Cumberland Farmers Market offers a diverse selection of locally grown and produced Kentucky Proud goods, a celebration of the rich agricultural heritage of the region and a gathering place for Somerset’s vibrant community. Opening Day will feature a full house of vendors offering a wide range of items, including homemade soaps and jams, coffee, fresh fruits and produce, a variety of cheeses, baked goods, maple syrup, herbs and seasonings, freeze-dried candy, eggs (both chicken and duck), and more.

Local food trucks Wook Waffles The Dirty Boba KY will be on site selling breakfast and beverages, and tables will be set up outside (weather permitting) for dining and conversation. The Pulaski County Public Library Bookmobile will also be on site.
