Somerset, KY — Jacob Trimble, a U.S. Navy veteran, healthcare professional, and lifelong Kentuckian, announced today that he is running for the United States Senate. A Republican, Trimble enters the race with a commitment to conservative principles, public service, and restoring accountability in Washington.
“Kentucky deserves a Senator who understands real service—not career politics,” said Trimble. “I’ve worn the uniform of our military and now work in healthcare, helping Kentuckians every day. I’m stepping forward to give working families, veterans, and rural communities a stronger voice in Washington.”
Trimble’s campaign platform centers on:
* Combating inflation and economic instability
* Defending First and Second Amendment rights
* Supporting Kentucky’s energy and coal industries
* Advocating for agriculture and rural infrastructure
Trimble enlisted in the U.S. Navy after high school, serving 7.5 years on active duty and attaining the rank of E-5. He was awarded two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals. Following his military service, Trimble began a new chapter in healthcare and now works at a local blood center.
“Kentuckians are tired of being ignored by a political class that puts itself first,” said Trimble. “This campaign is about service, values, and putting Kentucky first—always.”
His campaign will focus on building a statewide grassroots movement driven by veterans, healthcare workers, small business owners, and working families.
