In high school basketball action on Tuesday, Casey Co. Lady Rebels emerged victorious against Somerset Lady Briar Jumpers with a score of 44-36, while in the boys’ game, Somerset secured a win over Casey Co. with a score of 76-42. Other notable scores included Pulaski Co. defeating Wayne Co. 63-49 and Southwestern prevailing over Somerset Christian School with a score of 63-55. Upcoming high school basketball broadcasts include this Friday’s game between Somerset Briar Jumpers and Pulaski Co. Maroons, featuring a girls/boys doubleheader. The girls’ game is scheduled for 6 p.m., and the boys’ game will follow at approximately 7:45 p.m. Both games will be broadcast live on Somerset 106.1 FM & Somerset106.com.

In college basketball on Tuesday, the WKU Hilltoppers (7-3) secured a victory against Wright State with a score of 91-84. Don McHenry led WKU with an impressive 30 points. The Hilltoppers are set to face Austin Peay (6-6) at Diddle Arena in Bowling Green on Saturday, with a tipoff at 3 p.m. CT.

In college football news, former Ohio State Buckeyes RB DeaMonte “Chip” Trayanum has announced his transfer to the Kentucky Wildcats. Trayanum, the second leading rusher for OSU last season, with 373 yards and three touchdowns, started his collegiate career at Arizona State and will have one year of eligibility remaining.

Wednesday’s MLB action includes the Cincinnati Reds Hot Stove League program featuring Red’s broadcaster Jim Day and play-by-play announcer Tommy Thrall. Guests on the show include free agent signee Jeimer Candelario and Reds bench coach Freddie Benavides. The show airs live from 6 to 7 p.m. on WTLO AM 1480/97.7 FM.
