On Thursday, in high school basketball action, Danville Christian secured a victory over the Somerset Lady Briar Jumpers with a score of 65-31.

Moving to women’s college basketball, the Kentucky Wildcats claimed a narrow victory against Boston College with a final score of 83-81. Ajae Petty led Kentucky with an impressive performance, contributing 17 points and eight rebounds. With this win, UK improved its record to 3-5.

In college volleyball, the Kentucky Wildcats women’s volleyball team kicked off the NCAA Tournament at Rupp Arena by defeating Woffard with a convincing scoreline of 25-17, 25-15, 25-16. Kentucky, with a 20-7 record, advances to the second round, scheduled for Friday night at 7 p.m. where they will face Baylor.
