On Wednesday, Khristian Lander’s impressive performance, scoring 22 points, led the WKU Hilltoppers to a convincing 101-77 victory over the Tigers of Campbellsville University. Looking forward to this Sunday, WKU (5-3) is set to host the EKU Colonels (3-2) at Diddle Arena in Bowling Green. In their previous encounter on November 10, 2022, the Hilltoppers emerged victorious with a 66-60 win in Richmond. In MLB news, the Cincinnati Reds bolstered their bullpen by adding Emilio Pagan. Pagan, who spent the previous season with the Minnesota Twins, showcased his skills with 69 1/3 innings pitched, 65 strikeouts, and an impressive 2.99 ERA.

As Friday approaches, the Kentucky State high school football championships at Kroger Field in Lexington will feature three exciting matchups. At noon, the Class 1A clash between Raceland Rams (11-3) and Pikeville Panthers (11-2) kicks off, followed by the Class 2A bout between Owensboro Catholic Aces (14-0) and Mayfield Cardinals (12-1) at 4 p.m. The evening concludes with the Class 4A showdown between Covington Catholic Colonels (14-0) and Boyle Co.
